FIELD NOTES FROM GONZO CAPITAL
A monthly dispatch of stories, observations, links, books, markets, cultural debris and other things worth noticing.
A monthly dispatch of things worth noticing.
Markets. Technology. Culture. Politics. Books. Links. Strange signals. Personal notes. Things too small for a full essay and too interesting to throw away.
Field Notes lands on the last Wednesday of each month. It is looser than the essays, faster on its feet, and allowed to arrive with a few loose screws.
THE FIRST DISPATCH IS COMING.
The inaugural Field Notes arrives September 30. Expect stories, observations, links, books, markets, cultural debris, and whatever else managed to survive the month with enough dignity to be mentioned.

Most Gonzo Capital pieces begin with an argument and disappear down a rabbit hole.
Field Notes works differently.
It is where I keep the things that do not need 2,500 words. A story worth watching. A chart that bothered me. Something overheard in a meeting. A book. A ridiculous headline. A market signal. A historical parallel. An internet artifact. A prediction I will probably regret making publicly.
Some months may lean heavily toward markets and technology. Others may wander into politics, books, culture, or whatever strange object the internet has dragged onto the porch.
The point is not to summarize everything that happened.
The point is to remember the things that felt worth noticing.
NOTHING HERE YET.
Field Notes begins in September 2026. This section will become increasingly cluttered with monthly dispatches shortly thereafter.
